How you opt in

During booking on the Enter Details step, clients may optionally check a box to receive appointment-related SMS. The opt-in flow works as follows:

  1. Step 1: Customer selects a service from the business's booking page.
  2. Step 2: Customer selects an appointment date and time.
  3. Step 3: Customer enters contact details on the “Enter Details” step. On this step, the customer sees an optional SMS consent checkbox.

The checkbox displays the following label:

“I agree to receive SMS updates about my appointment (confirmation + one reminder). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

The checkbox is unchecked by default. It is entirely optional. SMS consent is not required to complete a booking.
